This week we interviewed Tod Masters, a student at Colorado State University, about his upcoming mission trip to Rwanda and pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Kibeho.
Tod has been on several mission trips within the United States to Indian reservations but after hearing about this opportunity from Father David at the CSU student chapel, he decided to sign up. The group of seventeen students is going to be spending three weeks in June helping at a hospital and working at an orphanage near Kigali, Rwanda.
While there, they will walk to the Shrine of Our Lady of Kibeho. It’s several miles away from Kigali and we hope to talk with some of the students after the trip.
Right now the students are raising several thousand dollars each to go. If you are interested in helping, you can donate at csurwanda.com.
This week is also the Feast of St. Rita of Cascia, so we took a look at St. Rita and her shrine.
I am also the Operations Manager for the Book Center of the Rockies.
